1) First Contact:

Oui Entertain Events are happy to meet and discuss a future opportunity. All meetings and quotations are offered without obligation.

2) Definitions:

Oui Entertain Events is a registered business name belonging to Oui Entertain! Inc. Herein often referred to as Oui Entertain.

“Event” refers to the services, both singly and collectively, being rendered to the client.

3) Booking, Deposit & Invoicing:

When booking an event with Oui Entertain a deposit equal to 25% of the total amount payable may be required to cover initial supplies and event planning costs. This deposit, payable by cheque or bank transfer, will be deducted from the total amount payable for the event.

A services contract will be presented to our client prior to any event. This contract will be accompanied with an invoice that will clearly show the total amount owing and deposit required. A receipt will not be issued unless requested.

Section 3 is not relevant to clients where a valid MSA contract has been signed and agreed upon.

4) Payments Within Canada:

We accept cheque and bank transfer. Cheques must be in Canadian Dollar (CAD) and made payable to Oui Entertain! Inc.

We may require further written details on the reverse of the cheque for security purposes. Final payment must be received within 30 (thirty) days after the invoice issue date.

5) Cancellations:

Under any circumstance where an event is required to be cancelled by the client an immediate notification is required via telephone to the event director stated on the services contract. The cancellation will only be considered as final when both parties have received confirmation of the cancellation via telephone and email.

If the client cancels up until 7 (seven) days prior to the event starting time the client will be charged a 2-hour (two-hour) administration fee along with any payments made by Oui Entertain to suppliers and outsourced services. When a cancellation is made by the client 7 (seven) days or fewer prior to the event starting time the client will be charged and invoiced the full cost as if the event had taken place.

If Oui Entertain needs to cancel an event we will notify our client immediately and confirm it via telephone and email. Only when Oui Entertain cancels the event will a full refund of any moneys paid be issued.

6) Equipment / Materials:

All equipment and materials will be supplied as part of the event unless otherwise mentioned on the services contract. Oui Entertain will remove all equipment/materials that we provide after the event has finished. Oui Entertain do not take responsibility for items, furnishings, flooring, fixtures and other materials that are not supplied by Oui Entertain.

Oui Entertain take great care in the tidying after the event however we cannot take responsibility for the general cleanliness of your centre/location.

7) Mascot & Character Appearances:

All mascot and character appearances may be subject to approval by a licensor prior to the event. A private, clean changing area away from public visibility is required for character performer(s). For every 1 (one) hour a character performer must be allocated a minimum of 15 (fifteen) minutes rest period. Oui Entertain reserve the right to allocate rest periods during all character performances including Meet ‘n’ Greets.

8) Brand Ambassadors:

Staff are provided and will act as an ambassador to your company. While every effort is made to ensure that staff conduct themselves in a professional manner, Oui Entertain are not always on-site to oversee their behaviour. BC Employment Standards Act requires that staff working more than 5 hours will receive a 30 (thirty) minute break. Uniforms, hand-outs and name tags will be confirmed when booking. In the event that a staff member fails to arrive for work, Oui Entertain will search for a replacement. If a replacement is not found then a refund for hours not worked will be returned to the client.

When booking Brand Ambassadors, Oui Entertain reserve the right to charge a nominal administration fee to cover hiring costs. Such fee will be noted on the invoice.

9) Entertainers and third party talent:

Oui Entertain endeavor to provide the highest quality entertainment. All entertainers are booked and supplied through Oui Entertain Events. Our portfolio of entertainers are, in their own right, contractors and are not employees of Oui Entertain! Inc.

When booking entertainers, Oui Entertain reserve the right to charge a nominal administration fee to cover contracting and hiring costs. Such fee will be noted on the invoice.

10) Insurance:

Oui Entertain! Inc. is fully insured for commercial general liability of up to $5,000,000. A copy of the insurance certificate is available upon request.

Oui Entertain realize that while every care is taken to ensure safety and security during our events, the general care and responsibility of minors remains with the parent or guardian. Our events are solely for entertainment and promotional purposes.

11) Website Usage, Quotations & Queries:

Oui Entertain will endeavor to reply to your online request within 2 (two) working days. Our quotations are confidential and are valid for 7 (seven) days. The viewing of this website is strictly bound by these terms & conditions. By sending a request/query you are agreeing to these terms & conditions and you take full responsibility in reading them. We do not accept responsibility for Internet errors, computer data loss or viruses contracted during the browsing or usage of our website.

12) Links:

Any link to third party associations on our website are intended merely as a directional reference for information. Oui Entertain are not liable if these links perform anything less or different than what they are intended for.

13) Privacy:

Oui Entertain and its website ensure full privacy and safe handling of all details entered through our website. Oui Entertain will not share customer/client details with any other company, person or body. From time to time Oui Entertain may use contact information for future marketing purposes only and will stop such usage if requested to do so by the client.
